Welcome to the Latest Cricket Updates,
Update number 1: A set of 6 new rules to the IPL 2025.
A big breaking update from BCCI regarding the new rules in IPL 2025. A set of six new rules has been announced. New rules should be followed by all the players as well as support staff, coaching staff etc.
Rule 1: No sleeveless jerseys at presentations.

The players are allowed to wear sleeveless jerseys at the practise time but not at the presentation sessions i.e post match and pre match presentations. Players are allowed to wear only full jerseys. This is the main rule among the set of new rules.
Rule 2: No family in dressing rooms even on practise days.

No dressing rooms will be given to the families of players even on practise days. It means the players are not allowed to take their families to the dressing room. The families should not be involved at all. Actually families haven’t been involved in dressing rooms at all in the previous seasons. Families appeared on the stands but not in the dressing rooms. The rule will be carried along, as according to the previous seasons.
Rule 3 : Players must use the team bus to travel.

BCCI seriously implemented this rule on the Indian Cricket team. Henceforth this rule will be applicable to the IPL teams too. The players are not allowed to travel by their own vehicles like cars, personal vehicles etc. They are allowed to travel only through their team buses.
Usually players were used to travel through the team bus. But in some rare situations they were using their personal vehicles. But now this rule has to be followed strictly.
Rule 4 : Players to be warned against hitting expensive things in frustration.

Players are strictly warned against hitting expensive things during the match i.e.hitting stumps, harming properties etc. If any of these are done by the player, then he will be strictly warned and will be fined.
In the previous seasons, it was considered as the offences like 1st offence, 2nd offence etc. But in IPL 2025 it will be considered as a strict rule which has to be followed by all the players strictly.
Rule 5: Fines for missing accreditation ID cards.

ID cards will be issued to all the players , staff, coaches etc. Usually ID cards will not be asked. The supporting staff has to wear ID cards or else they will be fined against vialating rules. It is not a strict rule which has to be followed. But it is mentioned among a set of new new rules for IPL 2025.
Rule 6 : Batters to be warned against hitting LED boards.

The rule appears more likely about the players hitting directly to the LEDs through their bats. Then the players will be strictly warned if they got LEDs intentionally or through frustration. It’s not about the ball hitting the LEDs as it won’t be in the hand of the player who hit the ball.
Which LED boards? It’s not understanding. LED boards which are on the boundary line or main LEDs. The rule is not clear at all. The rule says the player will be warned without any fine. How can a player hit an LED board? Is it through targeting. A player cannot target exactly the LED boards.
These are the new set of six rules released by BCCI. Among these, the rule which appears strange is wearing sleeveless jerseys to the presentation ceremony. All other rules were following as usual in the previous seasons i.e.families not allowing the dressing rooms, travelling in team buses, hitting expensive things. The auction was taken as usual in the previous seasons and the same thing will be followed in the IPL 2025.
All these rules will be carried out. Before, the supporting staff were not fined against the vialating rule of not having their ID cards but now if the staff violates, they will be more likely to be fined. If a player hits a LED board they will be warned.
These are the new set of rules bought by the IPL governing council for IPL 2025. Only one rule appears more cringe i.e wearing a full jersey to the presentation. The players may wear what they actually like but this cringe rule puts a full stop to the player’s desires.
Update number 2 : Mohammed Amir, a Pakistani cricketer likely to play IPL 2026.

It’s not 2025, it’s 2026. Mohammed Amir, a Pakistani player is likely to play IPL 2026. Amir says that he would like to play IPL and will be eligible to play IPL 2026. There will be a mini auction for IPL 2026. In that auction Mohammed Amir will be participating.
Is Mohammed Amir eligible to play IPL 2025?
The answer is no. People might be thinking that any franchise might take Mohammed Amir as a replacement but it’s not possible legally. Mohammed Amir still holds Pakistan’s citizenship. Noo Pakistani players are allowed to play IPL.
In order to play IPL, Mohammed Amir has to lose Pakistan’ s citizenship.
How could Mohammed Amir play the IPL?
Mohammed Amir officially stated that he will be losing Pakistan’s citizenship and gaining United Kingdom ( UK ) citizenship. He said he will be available for the IPL 2026 mini auction. We don’t know that he might or might not be picked by any franchise.
Initially, Mohammed Amir officially gave retirement to ODI but he came back to the world cup and again announced retirement. He was asked whether he will be playing again in Pakistan. But the answer from Amir was no. He said that he will not be playing for Pakistan and he will lose his own Pakistan’s citizenship and he will gain the UK’s citizenship soon. And try to explore the league like IPL.
Mohammed Amir speaks about RCB.

S, Amir has spoken about RCB in an interview. Even Ahmed Shahzad also speaks about RCB and Mohammed Amir. There is a requirement of players like Mohammed Amir to the RCB. RCB looks so strong in the batting line. When it comes to bowling, it doesn’t sound much. Players like Mohammed Amir can bring a lot of defence to the team and there will be a great impact in the team. And there is no doubt that RCB will win an IPL title, if RCB holds a player like Mohammed Amir.
Mohammed Amir is also expecting to be picked by RCB, if he is coming to the IPL 2026 mini auction. RCB is the favorite team for Mohammed Amir. He has described many times in many interviews. Now Amir mentioned that he will be changing his citizenship to the UK and will be playing IPL 2026.
Recently Amir was not in the form. But initially he was a fantastic bowler. Even many Indian batters struggled a lot. We do not know if RCB will buy him or not, if he comes to the IPL auction 2026 while holding UK citizenship. We know that RCB will never buy players who love RCB more.
