Welcome to the latest updates, the incident which took place in one of the Pakistan stadiums is now making a huge sound. Gaddafi stadium in Lahore was recently renovated. In this stadium a different scene has happened, a player who was playing went with a bloody forehead after a ball hit his forehead. That is none other than Rachin Ravindra, a new Zealand batter.
The Champions trophy 2025 will be starting soon. As a preparation, the tri-series is going on in Pakistan. There are a total of 3 teams playing this tri-series. New Zealand, South Africa and Pakistan are the 3 countries playing tri-series.
The match between Pakistan and New Zealand took place on 8th February, New Zealand got a dominant victory over Pakistan. But, nobody thought that an unfortunate scene would happen in the stadium. In that the Gaddafi stadium is newly renovated i.e the 15 feet trench that is built around the ground, so that no audience should enter into the ground to meet their favourite cricketers. Pakistan updated that they have renovated totally unique and unlikely to other stadiums in the world. They said it is one of the best stadiums in Pakistan. It is newly renovated and is comparing the old one and the newly renovated one. Pakistan was praising themselves.

The unfortunate scene that took place in Gaddafi stadium made Pakistan bend their heads. The reason for this is forehead injury to the New Zealand player Rachin Ravindra
How did Rachin Ravindra get injured?

The ball hit by Kushdil Shah hit Rachin Ravindra in the square leg region, almost near the boundary. It was a ball that had to be caught by Rachin Ravindra. But, unfortunately, the ball hit his forehead and he went out of the match with a bleeding forehead. In a fraction of seconds everyone wondered about the scene, how the ball rebound against Rachin Ravindra’s forehead. It was totally horrible. Rachin Ravindra felt on the ground immediately after getting hit by the ball. Bleeding occurred like a stream from his forehead region. One can say it was a severe injury.
Rachin Ravindra will be going for a scan, what happened inside his head or any injury to the brain is yet to know. He has to go through certain scans to know a clear picture of his trauma. He might or might not be playing the next few matches. If there are any severe injuries to the brain, he may or may not be playing the champions trophy too. He felt on the ground immediately after getting hit by a ball, they took him out of the ground by walking only as he was able to walk, no stretcher was used.

There was bleeding from the wound on the forehead. There might be a cut in the skin of the forehead. If the ball hit on the nose, all the nasal bones would have fractured. He would have undergone a long term bedrest if the ball hit on nose. The ball hit on the forehead as the bone in this region is very strong and thick. There are fewer chances of having damage to the brain.
If the ball hit on the nose, ear, back of the head, the situation would have become even worse than this. There might be life threatening situations. Forehead bone being stronger saved him from being more serious life threatening situations.
What was the reason??
Thin unfortunate scene, what happened to Rachin Ravindra in Gaddafi stadium, Lahore, led Pakistan to bend their heads. People are showing their hands on Pakistan. Who gave the permission to play in this stadium which is recently renovated, without checking anything.? Without checking flood lights at all, who gave them permission? The flood lights are very bad. Lights are not good at all. Who gave the permission to play here? In that Pakistan decided to play the Champions trophy here. But how?. What the scene?. How ICC gave permission without checking flood lights, ground pitch etc. Players are getting injured. Pakistan has to check the safety of the players. Mandatory precautions have to be taken. A quality test has to be done to the stadium before starting any match. Is the stadium fit for the game or not, has to be checked priorly.
It’s not about Pakistan’s decision that they have built a new stadium and newly renovated and let the players play without making any quality tests or taking precautions for the safety of the players and let the players play without taking any permission. Cancel all the matches in Pakistan and shift to Dubai. India questions Pakistan.

The main problem in this Giddafi stadium is the flooding lights. The players usually come for a catch after clearly judging the ball. They stun at a moment when the flood lights are not proper at all. They get blanked when the lights focus on their face and couldn’t see the ball. The same thing happened for Rachin Ravindra too. He said that he couldn’t see the ball at all, as the lights focused on his face.
Whatever happened, let Rachin Ravindra recover soon and play the Champions trophy. The tri-series doesn’t matter at all, what matters is the Champions trophy which is very crucial.
We do not know, still how many bad injuries will happen in future because of these bad flood lights. As Rachin Ravindra himself gave a reason that the scene was because of bad flood lights, as he was not able to see the ball at all. In fact the ball came very flat and at a low level. A wicket taking the ball turned to a dangerous ball.
As Indians said shifting the matches to Dubai is all doubtful. Whatsoever the problem in the lights, Pakistan should rectify it soon and should correct it as early as possible. Pakistan said that they have done a lot of Engineering work and renovated like any other stadium. But what about the lights? The player himself complained that the light was not good at all. He could not see the ball at all. It was a flat ball. If it has gone to a high level then we can agree because of focusing, he wasn’t able to see the ball.
Whatever happened Pakistan has to correct it. All the people mainly Indians roasting Pakistan. Many scenes are similar to these took place in many stadiums in India. But, no one blamed it. Whenever a scene happened in Pakistan people started blaming Pakistan.
ICC has to look at all the necessities including players safety measures, flood lights, pitch etc. before giving permission to play any matches in the stadium.
