Welcome to post match analysis of IND vs ENG 4th T20. India won the 4th T20 against England by 15 runs and led the series with 3-1 dominance. The whole match was completely suspenseful with both teams dominated at a particular time. It was a curious match to see which team Will be the leading series. Finally India has won and led the series. Since 2016 India consistently won against England in T20 formats. The confidence of India for winning is at the top level.

England won the toss and chose to bowl. Suryakumar Yadav consistently won the toss in 1st, 2nd, 3rd matches. In the 4th T20 Joss Buttler won the toss and chose to bowl. This is the first match where India came for batting first. Here is the scorecard

In the second over 3 wickets down for India. It was 12/3. The match winning prediction gradually rose towards England. The middle and lower middle of India’s batting line performed well enough. Rinku Sigh who was selected for 4th T20 has scored 30 for 26 balls with a strike rate of 115+. Hardik Padya the big hitter of the Indian team and Shivam Dube, has scored 53 each for 30 and 34 balls respectively. India scored a total runs of 181 for the loss of 9 wickets. Harshit Rana and Varun Chakravarthy remained unbatted. The top order did not perform at all. Everyone thought that it was going to be a low score game. Middle and lower middle order set a target for England of 182 to run to chase.

This was so surprising to score 180+ as England bought 3 wickets down in powerplay. Only Abhishek Sharma stood for an extent and scored 29 runs in the top order.

No runs came in the powerplay, after few overs the runs ultimately accelerated by S Dube, Hardik Pandya, Rinku Singh. One has to praise Abhishek Sharma who stood in powerplay on the ground. Tilak Varma  who is in the form got out for the frst ball. Suryakumar who came next went to dressing room with 0 runs.

Coming to the bowling of England. S Mahmood who was new to the series hawled 3 wickets in the second over.Its a first match for S Mahmood and he took a massive 3 main wickets with an over maiden. It’s totally like a dream come true moment. It is memorable for S Mahmood that he impacted in his first over against India.  J Overton also took two wickets with the economy of 8.

The total runs to chase to win against India was 182. But, England all out at 166. Initially in the powerplay England scored 62 runs without losing a wicket with the run rate of almost 10. B Ducket and P Salt added a huge partnership in the beginning. No runs came from the consistent Joss Buttler. H Book was on the way to chase down India but got out for 51. Non other players have come up good in chasing against India.

H Rana was exclusively selected for 4th T20. He gave his good in the match to win agajnst England. H Rana hawled 3 wickets for 33 runs with the economy of 8.25. Ravi Bishnoi who haven’t  taken any wicket in the previous matches, took a massive 3 wickets for 28 runs with the economy of 7. No word about Arshdeep Singh, A Patel, and V Chakravarthy who were consistent since the beginning of the series.
