Update number 1 : AB De Villiers speaks about RCB captaincy.
AB De Villiers Ex RCBian who is popularly called Mr 360, has spoken about RCB’s captaincy. Virat Kohli who is playing for RCB since the beginning should always be preference not the option. Whatever, Virat Kohli is the only person who deserves the captaincy of RCB. When it comes to IPL Virat Kohli is only the player who is playing for RCB since the beginning of IPL. Leading the most powerful team like RCB is not just a matter of words and cannot be handled by all. RCB is the IPL franchise which has a loyal fan base, huge crowd support, and a huge pressure will be under the captaincy. Such pressure can only be handled by powerful players like Virat Kohli.
RCB should not see any other player as a captain, it’s only Virat Kohli who deserves it. Recently rumours are spreading that Rajat Patidar will be the captain of RCB. This is also a good news but not to the extent of Virat Kohli being a captain.

AB De Villiers mentioned that Virat Kohli is at the end of his career ,but it does not look like Virat Kohli is at the end. Still Virat Kohli will be playing a minimum of 4-5 years IPL and 3-4 years of international cricket. Retirement totally depends on the capability of a player. AB De Villiers says that Virat Kohli is at the end and will be retiring soon. Hence, Virat Kohli is the perfect and best captain to lead RCB. If RCB wins the trophy under the captaincy of Virat Kohli it will be De Villiers pleasure thing ever. Virat Kohli with IPL trophy is the dream of every RCBian. RCB management has made many changes for the coming IPL 2025, and a new team is built according to line up. RCB initially had only a strong batting line up and now has a strong batting order and bowling order too. This year there are high chances that RCB might win the IPL trophy. Josh Inglis is an Australian cricketer who represents the Australian cricket in T20 and ODI formats. In the IPL mega auction Josh Inglish joined Punjab Kings for 2.60 crore. Now, as a recent update Josh Inglish got injured. He might not be playing in the champions trophy 2025 due to injury. When it comes to IPL he might or might not be playing. He is playing on behalf of Punjab Kings, but still the talks are going viral about replacement. Dewald Brevis is more likely for the replacement of Josh Inglis. But it is still questionable. David Warner, Kane Williamson, Jonny Bairstow many popular players were unsold in IPL mega auction 2025. PBKS management has many options for the replacement of Josh Inglish.
Injury to Josh Inglis is like a big bow to the Australian team. The Champions trophy is very near and Australia will be losing the best batter in the team.
