Update number 1 : India vs England ODI series, a new addition to team India.
For the coming India vs England ODI series, BCCI officially confirmed shubhman Gill as vice captain. Not only Shubhman Gill, Varun Chakravarthy also officially entered into the Indian squad for the ODI series against England. We thought that Varun Chakravarthy has come for the bowling practise or for providing practise to the Indian batters. But now V Chakravarthy officially joined the Indian team and playing against England in the ODI series.
There are high chances of playing in the Champions trophy too. The ODI series against England will begin from 6th February. If Varun Chakravarthy performs well in the ODI series, it will be 100% sure that he is going to be selected for the Champions trophy. Let him play well and take a position in the Champions trophy squad. Varun Chakravarthy has a time up to 13 February, he might be having an opportunity if he performed well.
Varun Chakravarthy performed well and hawled a massive wicket in the previous India vs England T20 series. One can expect the same performance in the ODI series too.

Update number 2: Himanshu Sangwan speaks about Virat’s dismissal in the Ranji trophy.
Recently in the Ranji trophy Himanshu Sangwan took Virat Kohli’s wicket. After 14 years Virat played the Ranji trophy, He got out just for 6 runs. Himanshu Sangwan celebrated very aggressively after Virat’s dismissal. Stumps went on rotating after hitting by the ball. Usually a player gets hurt if a player is out for bold. But in Virat Kohli’s dismissal the stumps went on rotating.
Sanwan answered how he took Virat’s wicket. He got one suggestion from the bus driver
‘ Bus driver told me to bowl the 5th stump line to Virat Kohli’
Accordingly, Himanshu Sangwan bowled in the 5th stump line, dismissed Virat Kohli. Even the bus driver analysed Virat’s weakness, and his strength. But, it was a hurtful thing that Virat got dismissed at an early score.
Update number 3: RCB captain Smriti Mandana gave a statement about IPL and WPL.
When it comes to WPL and IPL, Smriti Mandana gave a statement ‘WPL can impact women’s cricket the same way as IPL for men’.
S , WPL impacts women’s cricket. The viewvership to IPL is different and Viewvership to any other tournaments other than IPL is different. In IPL each and every match is so exciting. Update number 4: A big change in Australian team for Champions trophy 2025.
There are high chances that 3 three players in the Australian team are more likely to be replaced. Australian head coach Andrew McDonald officially announced that 3 players ( Josh Hazelwood , Pat Cummins, Michel marsh) in the Australian team are likely to be ruled out. It’s a big bow to Australia. Not only for Australia, it’s related to RCB too.
RCBian bowler Josh hazelwood , and Pat Cummins, are likely to miss out. As a strong update , McDonald themselves has confirmed that Pat Cummins, Josh hazelwood haven’t started to practise, they might not be eligible to play, and might not be able to play for the coming Champions trophy 2025.
Missing out of these players for the Champions trophy is 90% confirmed. Now Australia is searching for a new captain. Travis head or Steve Smith are likely to get a chance to lead the team as a captain.
Pat Cummins has given an extreme performance in all the tournaments. Even in the Recent Border Gavaskar trophy, Pat Cummins has given his best and led the team as a captain. Now all the possibilities are high that he will be missing out in the Champions trophy. In the ODI cup, Pat Cummins became successful in winning a trophy, if he wins the Champions trophy, then Australia will be a successful team under the captaincy of Pat Cummins.
Why Pat Cummins not playing Champions trophy 2025?
Pat Cummins is the captain and a main bowler. He is injured and not able to bowl. So, there are high possibilities for the captain replacement. Still it is not confirmed yet, who will be replacing Pat Cummins. There are possibilities that Travis head or Steve Smith might become captain of Australia.
Josh Hazelwood is also suffering from a fitness issue. Still he didn’t get fitness clearance. The report will be taken soon and then confirmed by the official statement. Not only the report, Hazelwood himself feels that he is suffering from a fitness issue.
Michel marsh is the third player who will be ruling out because of injury. Not only the Champions trophy, he might be ruled out of the IPL too.
Ricky Ponting says that it’s better if these three players are replaced for the Champions trophy. According to Ricky Ponting, Spenser Jonson, Mitchel owen who made Hurricanes to win BBL, C Abbot are the three players who will be replacing Pat Cummins, Hazelwood and Michel Marsh.
But the selection committee will not be thinking the same!. They might bring Sam konstas. Mitchel owen is more likely to replace M Marsh. Spenser Jonson and C Abbot in place of Hazelwood and Pat Cummins, according to Ricky Ponting.
When it comes to ability, Josh Hazelwood and Pat Cummins combination is more consistent and strong when compared to C Abbot and Spencer Johnson. These replacements are not like to like match.
If these three players are missing in Champions trophy 2025 it’s a big blow to Australia. If these strongest three players who were in the world squad including captain ruled out, then Australia has to struggle a lot to win the Champions trophy.
Hazelwood may or may not be for RCB, which has to be officially confirmed by RCB management. The replacement for these three players has to be announced.
